The perfect phone call…does exist. And it ends with the right solution for your customer.
I’ve shopped a lot of OSCs in my day, whether learning my competition or trying to better my own craft. What’s alarming is the inconsistency in quality of calls. I’ve had some who suggest an appointment or try to book one before they even know my name, I’ve had others who I gave every opportunity to push me to my next step who just hung up the phone and moved on without follow up.
As OSCs our focus is to obtain the appointment and for so many of us we forget that in order to set an appointment we also need to make sure that the appointment is the right thing for the customer and your builder.
